    Maurizio Brusadelli
    Executive Vice President and President, AMEA

    Maurizio Brusadelli is Exective Vice President & President Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) for Mondelēz International. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for driving growth in our Chocolate, Biscuits and Gum & Candy categories, building world-class capability and business impact across more than 100 markets in the region. He is also a member of Mondelēz International’s global management team.

    Maurizio joined Kraft Foods in 1993 in the Italian Marketing department, going on to build invaluable experience in a variety of categories and brands. A Marketing Manager by 1999, he moved into Sales and then Trade Marketing, where he had responsibility for the Italian business.

    Appointed Category Director, Coffee & Confectionery, Kraft Foods Italy in 2001, Maurizio was given responsibility for the Italian Food division at the end of 2002. In 2006, he became Category Director, Philadelphia Europe and in 2009 moved to Spain as VP & Managing Director Kraft Foods Iberia. He went on to lead the Gum & Candy category in Europe and in 2012 was appointed head of the UK & Ireland operations.

    After relocating to Singapore in 2014, Maurizio was appointed President, Markets & Sales for Mondelēz International in Asia Pacific and President, Biscuits AP. In January 2016 he was appointed EVP & President Asia Pacific.

    Glenn Caton
    President,
    South East Asia

    Glenn Caton is President, South East Asia (SEA) Business Unit, Mondelēz International. He’s responsible for our SEA markets like Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, as well as exports in the region, with an end-to-end responsibility from manufacturing to sales. Glenn is a member of the AMEA Leadership Team.

    Glenn joined Mondelēz International in 2013 to lead the Chocolate Category for UK&I and was appointed President, Northern Europe in 2016, leading the team to strong revenue growth for brands like Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate and at best-in-class industry margins. He joined Asia Pacific Middle East and Africa (AMEA) Region in July 2018 and first led the Chocolate Category and then assumed the role of Senior Vice President in charge of Growth initiatives for AMEA.

    Before joining Mondelēz International, Glenn held a range of roles in UK and European Sales and Marketing at Procter & Gamble; was Managing Director of Hiscox Direct Insurance and Managing Director of the world’s largest direct-to-consumer wine business, Direct Wines.

    He holds a degree in Business Administration from Aston University, UK.

    Glenn, his wife, their two sons (Sam and Joe) and Bernese mountain dog moved to Singapore in July 2018.

    Kate Goodman
    Business Unit President,
    Middle East, North Africa & Pakistan

    Kate Goodman is the President for Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan (MENAP) for Mondelēz International. She is responsible for leading the growth and end-to-end business in these dynamic and emerging markets. Kate is based in Dubai and is a member of the AMEA Leadership Team.

    Kate joined Mondelēz International in 2020 from Kimberly-Clark, where she built a diverse and successful career over 24 years. Most recently, Kate served as Vice President for Middle East & Africa for Kimberly-Clark’s consumer business leading a strong consumer-led growth agenda with brands such as Huggies®, Kotex® and Kleenex®. Prior to this, Kate was the Vice President for UK and Ireland and before that held general management positions in South Africa and Vietnam.

    Throughout her career, Kate has held diverse roles in General Management, Finance, Sales and Strategy. She is an accomplished global leader having lived and worked in Australia, USA, Asia, Africa, UK and the Middle East.

    Kate is originally from Australia. She holds an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Technology in Sydney.

    India

    Deepak Iyer is President, India at Mondelēz International and is responsible for leading the growth of India in this dynamic and emerging market. Deepak is also part of the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) Leadership Team.

    With close to twenty five years of management experience spanning sales, marketing, franchise management and general management, Deepak has extensive experience in the FMCG space in India. Prior to joining Mondelez India, he was the CEO and Managing Director of Bharti AXA General Insurance Company Ltd. He has also served as CEO and Managing Director, Indian Subcontinent at Wrigley India Pvt. Ltd, where apart from delivering overall business performance, he was responsible for managing the company’s vision in India and was involved in building the talent pipeline and nurturing culture.

    Deepak was earlier with PepsiCo Inc. for 17 years working in different roles in India, South Asia and Africa. He has also worked in Marico Industries, Coats Viyella India and Tata Telecom Ltd.

    Darren O’Brien

    Australia, New Zealand & Japan

    Darren O’Brien is President for Australia, New Zealand and Japan (ANZJ), a Business Unit (BU) in the Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa (AMEA) region at Mondelēz International. He is responsible for driving the operational strategy and long-term growth of ANZJ markets. Darren is a member of the AMEA Leadership Team.

    Darren joined the business in 2008 as the Sales Director for ANZ. He eventually led the Cheese and Grocery category for Asia Pacific, overseeing a billion dollar portfolio of leading brands. Prior to his current role, Darren was the Global President for Meals based in Europe.

    Darren has extensive experience in the FMCG industry, having worked at Diageo and Fonterra prior to joining Mondelēz International. He has led organizational change, mergers and acquisitions including the acquisition and merger of Bonlac Foods, Peters and Brownes and Norco Milk into the Fonterra Group and Kraft Foods’ acquisition and integration of Cadbury in 2010.

    In 2014 Darren was appointed to the board of the Australian Food and Grocery Council and is also a board member of the Victorian Rugby Union.

    Darren holds an Executive MBA from Singapore Management University, a Master of Enterprise (Leadership and Management) from Melbourne University, and a Bachelor of Business from University of Technology Sydney. He is based in Melbourne.

    Nigel Parsons is President for Sub Saharan Africa (SSA), a Business Unit (BU) in the Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa (AMEA) region at Mondelēz International. He is responsible for driving the operational strategy and long-term growth of SSA markets. Nigel is a member of the AMEA Leadership Team.

    Nigel has been with Mondelēz International for 19 years in numerous commercial and strategy roles. Prior to his current role, Nigel was Country Director in Australia. Prior to that, he was the Commercial Director in Australia.

    Nigel is a passionate leader focused on unlocking business success through its people and is a firm advocate for coaching, cross-functional career experiences and aligning teams through shared visions.

    Nigel also sits on the Australian Food and Grocery Council’s Board Sub Committee, where he provides solutions for key industry initiatives and focus areas.

    Nigel is South African and studied Commerce at the University of Natal and Business at the University of Wales.

    Joost Vlaanderen
    President,
    Greater China

    Joost Vlaanderen is Mondelēz International's President of Greater China and sits on the Asia, Middle East & Africa (AMEA) Leadership Team. He is responsible for the overall business operations of Mondelēz International in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

    Joost has been with Mondelēz International for 18 years in leadership roles with increasing responsibility across multiple geographies. He was appointed Country Director in his native Netherlands in 2006 and then General Manager for Cadbury Northern Europe in 2009.

    After leading the Perfect Store initiative in Europe from Switzerland, Joost became the Managing Director of Turkey in 2015. He was then appointed Managing Director of Southern, Central and Eastern Africa in 2016. Vlaanderen successfully merged and transformed the Southern, Central and Eastern Africa business units and led the region to double digit growth.

    Mr. Vlaanderen graduated from University of Groningen in the Netherlands with a Masters in Business Administration. He is based in Shanghai.

    Roger Carrillo
    Vice President,
    Human Resources

    Roger Carrillo is Mondelēz International's Vice President for Human Resources in Asia, Middle East & Africa (AMEA) region and is part of the Regional Leadership Team. He leads the development and implementation of human resources strategies and delivery models required to support growth in dynamic markets where talent acquisition, retention and development are critical to the business.

    Roger joined Mondelēz International in 1994 as a Senior Human Resources Analyst and has more than 24 years of human resource experience across North and Latin America. He held various roles in Organizational Development and Compensation & Benefits before becoming the Director of Human Resources in Venezuela and then moved to Brazil to lead Human Resources. He was the Senior Director for Cheese & Dairy Division in North America for four years before becoming the Vice President of Human Resources in Latin America in 2012.

    Integrated Supply Chain

    Thomas Gaengler is Vice President, Integrated Supply Chain, AMEA.

    Thomas Gaengler is Vice President Integrated Supply Chain, Asia Pacific Middle East and Africa (AMEA), Mondelēz International. Based in Singapore, Thomas is responsible for Manufacturing, Engineering, Customer Service and Logistics and the application of best practices in supply chain and manufacturing across the region. He is a member of the AMEA Leadership Team.

    Thomas started his career with Kraft Foods in 1993 at the Lörrach Chocolate Plant in Germany and progressed through a number of production and engineering roles in Europe and Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa (CEEMA) before becoming Plant Director in Bratislava, Slovakia in 1998. He assumed responsibility for Operations across Central and South East Europe in 2002 and became the CEEMA Manufacturing Vice President in 2004, based in Vienna.

    Thomas led major greenfield expansion projects in St Petersburg and Sobinka (Russia), Bahrain, and Trostyanets (Ukraine), as well as the integration of the LU biscuit and Cadbury plant network across the region.

    In 2012, he established two independent ISC organizations for CEE and MEA and moved to Dubai to lead the MEA ISC team. In 2013 he was appointed VP ISC, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa and was appointed to his current role in 2016.

    Senior Vice President,
    Finance

    Kris Giswold is the Vice President of Finance in Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa (AMEA) for Mondelēz International. She is responsible for all aspects of the finance function in AMEA and is a member of the AMEA Leadership Team.

    Kris is a globally experienced finance professional with a broad understanding of consumer product organizations. She joined Mondelēz International in 1995 as a Senior Financial Analyst for Kraft Foods in the United States and has held various roles leading the finance function for categories and regions in North America, Europe and Asia.

    More recently, Kris was the Chief Audit and Control Officer based in Zurich. Prior to that, she was Senior Director for Chocolate in Europe, and prior to that she was the Finance Director for the Biscuits category in AMEA, responsible for driving business results and growth in the category across 27 markets.

    Kris is a strategic business leader with extensive experience across developed and emerging markets. She has expertise driving results across many facets of the business and extensive experience partnering with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Tax, Treasury and Legal functions.

    Kris is originally from the United States. She holds an MBA from the Wisconsin School of Business and a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

    Sachin Prasad is Senior Director, Commercial Strategy for Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) at Mondelēz International. He is responsible for overseeing the organization’s Strategic Planning process in the region and leads a team of professionals focused on analytics, strategy pricing, portfolio optimization and competitive intelligence. Sachin is a member of the AMEA Leadership Team.

    Sachin joined Mondelēz International in 2014 from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he progressed through various roles of increasing responsibility from 2006. Prior to his current role, Sachin was the Managing Director of Indonesia where he led the market in four years of double digit growth, developed route to market expansion to reach more traditional stores, and built a winning growth culture with the highest employee engagement score in the company. Prior to that, he was the Senior Director for Analytics and Pricing in AMEA.

    Sachin holds a Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance and Operations from India Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The India Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. Sachin is based in Singapore.
