    Maurizio Brusadelli
    Executive Vice President and President, AMEA

    Maurizio Brusadelli is Exective Vice President & President Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) for Mondelēz International. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for driving growth in our Chocolate, Biscuits and Gum & Candy categories, building world-class capability and business impact across more than 100 markets in the region. He is also a member of Mondelēz International’s global management team.

    Maurizio joined Kraft Foods in 1993 in the Italian Marketing department, going on to build invaluable experience in a variety of categories and brands. A Marketing Manager by 1999, he moved into Sales and then Trade Marketing, where he had responsibility for the Italian business.

    Appointed Category Director, Coffee & Confectionery, Kraft Foods Italy in 2001, Maurizio was given responsibility for the Italian Food division at the end of 2002. In 2006, he became Category Director, Philadelphia Europe and in 2009 moved to Spain as VP & Managing Director Kraft Foods Iberia. He went on to lead the Gum & Candy category in Europe and in 2012 was appointed head of the UK & Ireland operations.

    After relocating to Singapore in 2014, Maurizio was appointed President, Markets & Sales for Mondelēz International in Asia Pacific and President, Biscuits AP. In January 2016 he was appointed EVP & President Asia Pacific.

    Middle East & Africa

    Gawad Abaza is President for Middle East and Africa at Mondelēz International. He is responsible for leading the growth of Mondelēz International in these dynamic and emerging markets. Gawad is based in Dubai and is a member of the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) Leadership Team.

    Gawad was previously President, Chocolate, Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa and Managing Director of Kraft Foods’ Mashreq cluster in Cairo from 2010, and then Area Vice President, South, Central & Eastern Africa until December 2014. Gawad worked for the Cadbury Group for seven years, initially as Managing Director of the Cadbury Adams Egypt Group in 2003, during which time Cadbury Egypt received the regional business of the year award for 2003 and 2004. Gawad later became Cadbury MD for the Middle East and North Africa.

    Before joining Cadbury, Gawad worked for Incogum for seven years, during which time Pfizer acquired Warner Lambert. Gawad had previously worked for Warner Lambert as a sales manager in Saudi Arabia. His responsibilities later expanded to include Bahrain, Oman and Yemen, and by 1994 he was the Sales Manager for Gulf countries. Gawad started his career in 1986 as medical representative for Alkan Medical, from where he went on to become Johnson & Johnson Alexandria Branch Manager.

    ANZ & Japan

    Amanda Banfield is Mondelēz International's President of the Australia and New Zealand and Japan, stewarding iconic brands including Cadbury, Oreo, The Natural Confectionery Company and Philadelphia Cream Cheese.

    The area employs close to three thousand people across manufacturing sites and sales offices, with teams spanning marketing, sales, insights, research and development, manufacturing, supply chain and corporate functions.

    Amanda is leading a transformation of these operations, driving productivity and efficiency programs to enable the local business to become globally cost competitive and generate sustainable profitable growth, while ensuring its products and brands continue to delight consumers and retail customers.

    Amanda's deep snacking experience in Asia Pacific and Europe has included local and regional leadership roles in marketing, strategy and general management. In her twenty-eight-year career she has led major organizational changes including significant integration and business transformation, as well as having conceived and led a variety of brand renovation and innovation projects, some of which have grown to become global platforms.

    Amanda chairs Mondelēz International's regional Diversity and Inclusion Council and is a director on the boards of the Australian Association of National Advertisers and the Australia Food and Grocery Council.

    Deepak Iyer

    Deepak Iyer is President, India at Mondelēz International and is responsible for leading the growth of India in this dynamic and emerging market. Deepak is also part of the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) Leadership Team.

    With close to twenty five years of management experience spanning sales, marketing, franchise management and general management, Deepak has extensive experience in the FMCG space in India. Prior to joining Mondelez India, he was the CEO and Managing Director of Bharti AXA General Insurance Company Ltd. He has also served as CEO and Managing Director, Indian Subcontinent at Wrigley India Pvt. Ltd, where apart from delivering overall business performance, he was responsible for managing the company’s vision in India and was involved in building the talent pipeline and nurturing culture.

    Deepak was earlier with PepsiCo Inc. for 17 years working in different roles in India, South Asia and Africa. He has also worked in Marico Industries, Coats Viyella India and Tata Telecom Ltd.

    Emre Olcer
    South East Asia

    Emre Olcer is the Area Vice President, South East Asia (SEA), Mondelēz International and is based in Singapore. He is also a member of the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa Leadership Team. Emre is responsible for developed and developing markets in the dynamic and emerging SEA region, including Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and AP Exports, serving 19 markets in total.

    He joined Mondelēz International in July 2016 after nearly 20 years with Procter & Gamble and Gillette. From 2011 to 2016, he was General Manager Vietnam and Cambodia and prior to that, Asia Marketing Director for Gillette for three years. He was Associate Marketing Director for Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa from 2006 to 2008.

    Emre held a range of roles with Gillette from 1997 to 2005, starting in Personal Care as a brand manager in 1997 in Turkey and progressing to Duracell Business Director for Eastern Mediterranean in 2000, a role he held for three years. He was then Gillette Marketing Director for the region from 2003-2005. Emre started his career with L’Oreal as Brand Manager Hair & Skin in 1994, after finishing his Master’s degree in Grenoble, France.

    Joost Vlaanderen
    Greater China

    Joost Vlaanderen is Mondelēz International's President of Greater China and sits on the Asia, Middle East & Africa (AMEA) Leadership Team. He is responsible for the overall business operations of Mondelēz International in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

    Joost has been with Mondelēz International for 18 years in leadership roles with increasing responsibility across multiple geographies. He was appointed Country Director in his native Netherlands in 2006 and then General Manager for Cadbury Northern Europe in 2009.

    After leading the Perfect Store initiative in Europe from Switzerland, Joost became the Managing Director of Turkey in 2015. He was then appointed Managing Director of Southern, Central and Eastern Africa in 2016. Vlaanderen successfully merged and transformed the Southern, Central and Eastern Africa business units and led the region to double digit growth.

    Mr. Vlaanderen graduated from University of Groningen in the Netherlands with a Masters in Business Administration. He is based in Shanghai.

    Roger Carrillo is Mondelēz International's Vice President for Human Resources in Asia, Middle East & Africa (AMEA) region and is part of the Regional Leadership Team. He leads the development and implementation of human resources strategies and delivery models required to support growth in dynamic markets where talent acquisition, retention and development are critical to the business.

    Roger joined Mondelēz International in 1994 as a Senior Human Resources Analyst and has more than 24 years of human resource experience across North and Latin America. He held various roles in Organizational Development and Compensation & Benefits before becoming the Director of Human Resources in Venezuela and then moved to Brazil to lead Human Resources. He was the Senior Director for Cheese & Dairy Division in North America for four years before becoming the Vice President of Human Resources in Latin America in 2012.

    Senior Vice President,

    Glenn Caton is Senior Vice President of Growth at Mondelēz International and is responsible for our growth agenda and building capabilities for our business units to achieve full potential and drive competitive advantage. Glenn is also part of the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) Leadership Team.

    Glenn was President of Northern Europe from 2016 and led the team to great revenue growth at best in class industry margins. Prior to that, Glenn led the Chocolate category in Northern Europe.

    Before joining Mondelēz International, Glenn had 20 years’ experience in other companies; including extensive UK and European Sales and Marketing roles at Procter & Gamble; Managing Director of Hiscox Direct Insurance; and Managing Director of the world’s largest Direct to Consumer Wine business.

    Integrated Supply Chain

    Thomas Gaengler is Vice President, Integrated Supply Chain, AMEA.

    Thomas Gaengler is Vice President Integrated Supply Chain, Asia Pacific Middle East and Africa (AMEA), Mondelēz International. Based in Singapore, Thomas is responsible for Manufacturing, Engineering, Customer Service and Logistics and the application of best practices in supply chain and manufacturing across the region. He is a member of the AMEA Leadership Team.

    Thomas started his career with Kraft Foods in 1993 at the Lörrach Chocolate Plant in Germany and progressed through a number of production and engineering roles in Europe and Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa (CEEMA) before becoming Plant Director in Bratislava, Slovakia in 1998. He assumed responsibility for Operations across Central and South East Europe in 2002 and became the CEEMA Manufacturing Vice President in 2004, based in Vienna.

    Thomas led major greenfield expansion projects in St Petersburg and Sobinka (Russia), Bahrain, and Trostyanets (Ukraine), as well as the integration of the LU biscuit and Cadbury plant network across the region.

    In 2012, he established two independent ISC organizations for CEE and MEA and moved to Dubai to lead the MEA ISC team. In 2013 he was appointed VP ISC, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa and was appointed to his current role in 2016.

    Mario Ruberto
    Vice President,

    Mario Ruberto is Vice President Finance, Asia Pacific Middle East and Africa, Mondelēz International. He is responsible for the Finance Function in AMEA and is a member of the AMEA Leadership Team.

    Mario is a chartered accountant and joined Mondelēz International in August 2016. He was previously with Ferrero Group for 14 years, serving as Chief Financial Officer, Asia for five years. He was responsible for driving the profitable growth agenda and route to market transformation for the region and played a key leadership role in implementing SAP across Asia.

    Mario held several senior management roles at Ferrero, including in Corporate Development, M&A and Corporate Reporting, where he implemented the IAS/IFRS for the first time within Ferrero.

    Prior to joining Ferrero, Mario worked in Management Consulting in Milan, Italy and held the position of teaching assistant of Management Accounting at Cattolica University in Piacenza, Italy.

    Mario holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan, graduating cum laude. He earned his Executive Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management in Chicago and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
